A late October trip down to North Devon with the Pepper family. It’s a jam packed few days along the coast, visiting waterfalls, long walks and lots of delicious food! All before a third lockdown and the winter months.
A late October trip down to North Devon with the Pepper family. It’s a jam packed few days along the coast, visiting waterfalls, long walks and lots of delicious food! All before a third lockdown and the winter months.
A short break in North Wales. We spend a couple of days hiking, including reaching the summit of Mt. Snowdon. There’s also a big surprise for Amy on our 7th anniversary.
We headed to Sintra, Portugal for the wedding of Bill & Tash. Not only do we have an amazing time on their big day, but we also explore the hills of Sintra and the coastline of Portugal in a brilliant 10 day break.
Minca is a small village that’s only recently been opened to the general public after being ruled by Guerillas. The region is beautifully pristine and great for trekking. We visit refreshing waterfalls and end up in the ‘World’s Biggest Hammock’!
Our first stop in Colombia, is the cute colonial town of Salento. In one of Colombia’s biggest coffee regions, we sample the local produce. Before a walk through the Valle de Cocora in the Cloud Forest.
From Latacunga, we spend a couple of days in Baños. The main attractions are the waterfalls that surround the town and Casa del Arbol, the ‘Swing on the Edge of the World’.
The base for trekking the Corderilla Blanca mountain range, Huaraz was a picturesque stop. We re-acclimatise with the stunning Laguna 69 trek, before booking on to a four-day Santa Cruz hike.
The Argentinian Lake District is a beautiful area in the Northern reaches of Patagonia. We explore the Nahuel Huapi National Park, climb to the summit of Cerro Campanario for stunning views and visit Llao Llao. I also finally have a proper Argentinian steak!
We skipped across the border from Brazil into Argentina. We spend a day exploring the Argentinian side of the Iguazú falls before catching an overnight bus to Buenos Aires.
Our final stop in Brazil was Foz do Iguaçu, home to the spectacular, world renowned Iguaçu Falls. We spend a morning exploring the waterfalls, visit a bird sanctuary, see the meeting point of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay and visit the Itaipu Dam.
