Isla Isabela, Galápagos Islands

Our final few days in the Galápagos are spent on Isla Isabela, the largest in the archipelago. Whilst snorkelling we spot a tiny seahorse, huge green sea turtles and plenty of sharks. The final day we visit Sierra Negra Volcano, a massive volcano which is pretty active, before saying farewell to the Galápagos Islands.

Paracas, Peru

Our penultimate stop on the Peru Hop was Paracas, a small town famous for the Isla Ballestas just off shore. These islands are known as the poor man’s Galapagos and for good reason! We also visit the Paracas Nature Reserve to see the beautiful coastline.

Milford Sound, New Zealand

The World famous Milford Sound. We cruise around the beautiful fiord, before heading to the underwater observatory to see the rare Black Coral. It’s then time to hop in a kayak and paddle around Harrison Cove – not to mention a trip up Key Summit for spectacular views!

Sydney, Australia

Just a short post on a few things we’ve been up to. Now back in Sydney, we decided to try and complete our checklist of things to do in the great city. We visit Madame Tussaud’s, Sydney and Taronga Zoo and we go to see Passenger in concert!

Melbourne, Australia

Having reached our destination, Melbourne was a brilliant few days. We watched the cricket at the famous MCG, checked out the impressive graffiti down Hosier Lane, saw some amazing sunsets and got up to some other things in this short stop in Melbourne.

Grand Pacific Drive, Australia

Our first proper road trip in Australia. We rent a car, and head down the East Coast, from Sydney to Melbourne on the Grand Pacific Drive. With plenty of beautiful stop offs, and lots of amazing views and beaches, the six days it took to get down to Melbourne, was brilliant.
