In May 2021, we took a trip down to Dorset for the week. Staying at the Neale’s as a base, we explore the South coast.
There’s some lovely walks to Chapman’s Pool and also Old Harry’s Rock, plus a trip to the Wimborne Pig for a delicious lunch.
A late October trip down to North Devon with the Pepper family. It’s a jam packed few days along the coast, visiting waterfalls, long walks and lots of delicious food! All before a third lockdown and the winter months.
A chilly and wet couple of days in the Cotswolds in October, 2020. We visit the quaint villages of Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold. Our shepherds hut was a perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds, with trips to Broadway Tower and Cleeve Hill at the top of our agenda.
Our last hiking adventure was in the far North of Colombia at the stunning Tayrona National Park. We enjoy the beautiful coastline and beaches, whilst sweltering in the extreme humidity. We also bump into a Premier League star!
From Latacunga, we spend a couple of days in Baños. The main attractions are the waterfalls that surround the town and Casa del Arbol, the ‘Swing on the Edge of the World’.
Perhaps our favourite town on our whole trip, Hoi An has been recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site – and we can see why. With the famous Vietnamese landmark, the ‘Japanese Covered Bridge’, Hoi An is a beautiful sea port town.
